About the Artwork

My painting, “Ako Ito, Babae," represents women's empowerment and a deep connection to nature and society. It honors women's tenacity and fortitude as nurturers, innovators, and creators of a sustainable future. As an artist and architect who promotes green building architecture, I emphasize the necessity of structures that coexist with nature, assuring no harm to living things for future generations.

Beyond artistic expression, my work is a call to action for sustainability and inclusion. Just as women promote life, architects should respect and preserve the environment. Ako Ito, Babae emphasizes the interconnectivity of empowerment, accountability, and sustainability, reminding us that proper development is achieved when we build and create without destroying.

Rich, vibrant colors combined with a mix of nature elements and abstract textures evoke feelings of tranquility. The golden accents and serene expression of the central figure emphasize a calm, dreamlike state.
