My mom loves flowers, and so do I.

Whenever I see plants and flowers, I think of my mom. She's a beautiful soul and a "plantita" by heart. She inspires me to paint flowers, too.

Purple is often associated with mystery and creativity. Fields painted in shades of purple might suggest a dreamlike or otherworldly quality, inviting viewers to explore their imagination and ponder what lies beyond the visible.

I painted a set of peonies for Mother's Day, hence, the title. Flowers symbolize love, gratitude, and appreciation and are the perfect representation of the sacrifices and care our mothers have provided us.

Roses, lavender, and jasmine: beautiful and fragrant

These flowers calm many people not just by looking at them but also by smelling them. Roses remind me of the time wh you can buy them at a lower price. Lavender reminds me of Taiwan, and jasmine reminds me of my grandfather.

These are my favorite flowers and scents as well. 

A mushroom is at the center, representing hope that brings about good things, people, and events during times of doubt and uncertainty. The predominant green color symbolizes the wood element that helps keep wealth and many blessings. Moreover, the peace lilies embody peace and its filtering capacity in one's home or environment.

"Ang Aking Ina" is about a mother who would do anything for her kids despite the circumstances. A mother's love and bond with her daughters are genuinely remarkable. They are all surrounded by flowers and butterflies, which symbolize joy and hope.
