Kennette Ann is an architect by profession and works as a part-time painter during her leisure time. Her works range from floral to landscape to abstract, using various mediums, such as watercolor and acrylic. She uses KiNet as her signature on her works.
She was born and raised in a small town in Morong, Rizal. At a young age, she was fascinated by drawing and drew anything she saw in different shapes and colors. During her elementary and college years, she would always join all the drawing contests in school, like poster-making and slogan-making contests.
She has no formal education in painting and considers herself a self-taught artist.

My painting, “Ako Ito, Babae," represents women's empowerment and a deep connection to nature and society. It honors women's tenacity and fortitude as nurturers, innovators, and creators of a sustainable future. As an artist and architect who promotes green building architecture, I emphasize the necessity of structures that coexist with nature, assuring no harm to living things for future generations.
Beyond artistic expression, my work is a call to action for sustainability and inclusion. Just as women promote life, architects should respect and preserve the environment. Ako Ito, Babae emphasizes the interconnectivity of empowerment, accountability, and sustainability, reminding us that proper development is achieved when we build and create without destroying.

The "Mother and Child" series celebrates the profound connection between mothers and their children. Rendered in vibrant acrylic hues, each piece captures the essence of unconditional love, resilience, and warmth. Using a palette knife brings texture and depth to the canvas, symbolizing the layers of emotion and experience that define motherhood.
This collection aims to convey the beauty and strength of nurturing bonds through bold strokes and expressive forms. The interplay of colors reflects the spectrum of emotions—joy, protection, sacrifice, and hope—a mother embodies in her journey. Each artwork serves as a testament to mothers' irreplaceable role in shaping their children's lives and spirits.
This series is not just a visual representation but an invitation to reflect on maternal love's universal and timeless essence.

The "Blossom" series is a vibrant exploration of serenity and elegance through palette knife techniques. Dominated by bluish indigo hues that evoke calmness and depth, the purity of white blossoms beautifully contrasts with each piece. The textured strokes created with the palette knife bring the petals and leaves to life, adding movement and dimension to the canvas.
This collection is inspired by nature's tranquility and flowers' delicate strength. The harmonious blend of cool blues and soft whites symbolizes peace, renewal, and hope.
"Blossom" invites viewers to pause, breathe, and appreciate the quiet beauty found in simplicity and grace.

As an Aquarius and someone deeply fascinated by the wonders of the sea, "Pawi" the Turtle is my tribute to the quiet strength and grace of marine life. “Pawi,” a name drawn from the Filipino word pawikan, represents the sea turtle and the spirit of resilience and beauty that lives beneath the waves.
Bold, abstract hues of blue and teal flow across the canvas—an homage to the ever-moving sea. With its strong form and gentle presence, the turtle emerges through the waves as a symbol of survival, peace, and the importance of protecting our marine ecosystems.
