About the Artwork
This is part of my vertical series featuring Cebu’s heritage sites, all located within walking distance of each other.
The Yap-San Diego Ancestral House built between 1675 and 1700, is one of the oldest surviving houses in the Philippines. Now a museum, it highlights the Chinese influence in Cebu’s Parian district.
Soft neutral tones, gentle contrasts, and warm earth hues evoke a serene and tranquil atmosphere, reminiscent of a peaceful day in an urban setting.
