There's peace in chaotic waters.

"Free" is an original work of mine honoring and celebrating Women's Month.

This painting represents women in our society fighting for their rights and celebrating equality.

Pause, sit back, and relax. Feel the soothing sound of the waves. 

We walk in this life with pain, doubts, and worries. Some are hopeless about their situations. Some are dying because of severe illnesses. Some are lonely and scared. Some are in the middle of nowhere and some are like you.

And it’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to feel everything at the same time. It’s okay to commit mistakes and mess up on something. Remember, you will always have another chance to make things right.

Rise, just like the day. Rise unafraid. Rise and do it a thousand times again.

The different colors forming waves--crashing and blending onto each other--represent life's various stories, songs, and dances.

This acrylic painting on canvas was qualified to compete in the 2021 GSIS National Art Competition. 

This aquatic-themed piece has become more relevant as this summer's heat encourages everyone to visit the beach sooner. Inspired by "The Great Wave of Kanagawa," this work depicts my love of the ocean and its force. 

This painting was inspired by the beautiful waves of Calicoan Beach in Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

"The sound of waves also brings my mind to peace. It makes me curious about what lurks underneath these waters. As a swimmer, underwater sceneries were the ones that brought me to nature and art." 

 The ocean makes me feel small and puts my whole life into perspective. As the “Transcending Waves” enchant my senses, I can’t help but feel isolated on the surface. With its vast water staring right back at me, gentle stirrings seem to speak with my hidden soul beneath.

This painting is part of the series I originally made called CUTS, inspired by the style of my award-winning piece "Prima Custos."

A character's strength in being hopeful

You may fail countless times, but as you never lose hope, you will have a better future.

Hold on to your strength.

We may rise and fall outside our control. No matter how bad things may seem your life is, you need to rise and keep moving forward. Every unexpected tidal wave can either make us stronger or break us. How small or big it is, we know we can overcome it. 

A tiger never loses focus on its goal when hunting its prey.
