It is surprising how these flowers can make you feel better--small, pure, and white. Lying on the grass, swaying with the wind, facing the sun, like stars on the ground but in the daylight, reminding you to cheer up.

"Summer" is part of my original "Four Seasons" series. It represents my admiration of nature and its changing conditions.

"Luksong Baka" was a game we played as kids.

It starts with the “taya” crouching, and the other kids jump over the “taya” until he gets to the standing position.

The kid who fails to jump over becomes the next “taya.”

Inspired by my hometown, Baguio City, I wove Cordillera textiles into this piece, exposing raw edges and frayed threads. Sealed with varnish and glue to make it last.

I'm trying to portray the life of a child--sweet and innocent--enjoying something that seems trivial to adults. Kids are always inspiring to paint. I am reminded of how simple life was back when I was a kid myself.

Find the flower child within you and celebrate the beauty, grace, and peace she radiates.

This painting depicts sunflowers sitting in a vase. I've been fascinated with flowers ever since. I find peace and joy when looking at these bright yellow flowers.
