Their expressions convey a deep sense of purpose and joy as they engage in the time-honored tradition of preparing "vunung," a cherished food integral to their heritage.

Like most of us, they go out every day to earn an honest living the best way they can. A road nuisance to many, but to many more, it provides mobility. But times are changing, and the reign of the ‘king of the road” seems to be coming to an end as more practical modes of transport rapidly grow in numbers, signifying the end of an era. The jeepney is an age-old icon representing Pinoy's artistry and adaptability deserves to be remembered and immortalized.
