"Gratia et Fides" is my original work inspired by the Lenten Season.

This painting portrays every individual's life, reminding us that we are not saved by good work but by grace and faith in Jesus Christ.

A depiction of everyday life during the pandemic, which is one of my entries to GSIS national art competition, with the theme of "Ginhawa sa Gitna ng Pandemya."

La Naval de Manila, or Nuestra Sra Del Santisima Rosario, was accredited with the deliverance of Manila from the Dutch pirates in 1646. It was believed she guided the Spanish ships into victory against the Dutch fleets, thus earning herself the name La Naval de Manila.

An allegory of faith depicts a late 19th century native Filipina in solemn but fervent prayer, her head bowed in humble reverence and her hands clasped to an ornate golden rosary.

She is semi-shrouded in a delicately intricate lace veil that lightly drapes over her like a faded black mist. Her attire is unadorned and straightforward, consisting of a baro loosely worn with the absence of a pañuelo, which lightly exposes her right bare shoulder and her inner camisa, indicating that she's praying within her private quarters or the family's home altar.

The simplicity of the subject indicates sheer humility before God.

Even if He was suffering from a painful injustice, He still embraced the cross to show his unconditionallove for humankind.
