Whenever I look back on my childhood, I see many images, people, and places I went to. I feel nostalgic. I'm sad I can't go back to the past, but I'm happy to have those memories, which I never want to forget. I want to have something to look at in the future. That's why I create these kinds of paintings.

"Rose," 2019

Fiore is made to bring light and hope into society. It symbolizes the peace we have within ourselves despite these troubling times. The green leaves behind the sunflower symbolize the hatred within this world. However, despite the amount of negativity,  there will always be hope (which are the sunflowers).

These blooming flowers remind us to be hopeful in all circumstances.

I painted this double petal Roselily in pink because it is associated with love, feminity, romance, and passion.

Roselilies are perfect gifts for female friends and relatives, and wedding bouquets, since they symbolize purity of love in relationships.

A "family" of roses

The hibiscus is used as an offering to goddess Kali and Lord Ganesha in Hindu worship. In the Philippines, the gumamela (local name for hibiscus) is used by children as part of a bubble-making pastime.

Unlike the traditional banana plant, the Abyssinian banana is grown primarily for ornamentation rather than for its fruit. Even with green leaves, the red center vein is its beauty mark.

Roses, lavender, and jasmine: beautiful and fragrant

These flowers calm many people not just by looking at them but also by smelling them. Roses remind me of the time wh you can buy them at a lower price. Lavender reminds me of Taiwan, and jasmine reminds me of my grandfather.

These are my favorite flowers and scents as well. 

Inspired by a rose bouquet, this painting is heavily textured with roses that speak of romantic love.

I created the artwork from imagination due to my spontaneous desire to visit a tulip field.

Tulips are simple flowers but come in various colors. Whenever I see them, they remind me of simplicity and elegance at the same time.

The koi fish means much more in some cultures than simply ornamental fish because it represents the “unity of opposites," an important concept in many religions and philosophies. Batanes is known for its Ivatan houses, which are resilient to typhoon.

Tending to the soul is like nurturing a garden--with patience and care, it grows. And as doubts and fears are conquered, virtues like compassion and gratitude flourish.

"Garden Dreams" is about cultivating inner peace and blossoming into your authentic self-- becoming the person God planned you to be.

"Nature's Canvas" is a captivating conceptual painting that explores the fertile earth, the goddess within, and the beauty of the life cycle.
