Children's happiness; a mother's life

Time flies fast into the future, but I remember the old days when the only thing we could do was play with our peers.

"Chinese Garter," a game requiring flexibility, adjustment, and coordination, is a famous game for Filipino kids, most particularly among young ladies in their elementary years.

The game rotates around a standard garter, a few yards long, brought from a sewing store at around P20 or less.

The coronavirus has impacted many people’s lives around the world, including mine. But as the days have gone by, I've started to appreciate these circumstances by staying positive, and I want you to do the same. I thought I was affected so severely by the virus, but I realized there are so many people worse off than I am. There many people out there who have lost their jobs, the people they love, their homes, and so much more. So to the people who feel like their world has fallen apart, you’re not alone.  Remember, some people have lost a lot more. Instead of thinking about our quarantine as a "prison," we need to see it for the gift it is:  the gift of time. Focus on the positive.

I'd like to reintroduce those famous young Filipinos' traditional street games. Because of technology, it's sad how only a few kids know about these games today.
