This piece was my entry to the 35th "Kulay sa Tubig" watercolor competition and was exhibited at Gallery Genesis at Estancia Mall, Pasig.

The withered leaves stand in for my former self. Even though the old me appeared lifeless and dry, I was nonetheless lovely. I'm prepared to let go of my old self and go toward my destiny.

Winter comes after autumn. I'm ready to endure the cold in exchange for the promise of a warm and colorful spring.

In 2023, I was challenged mentally, emotionally,  and physically.

But God was kind enough to provide me with a strong support system like my friends.

I thank God daily for all the lessons that made me who I am today.
