This painting is part of my motherhood series in tribute to all the dedicated mothers out there--for all the sacrifices they make in bringing up a child in this world. Indeed, it is one of the noblest jobs, yet it plays such a significant role in the society anyone embarks on.

This painting captures a peaceful moment indoors during a rainy day. A nice cup of tea with a good book, surrounded by the soothing sound of rain outside, is a simple joy of enjoying a quiet day indoors.

A human figure emerges, shedding accumulated life's stains, as it resurfaces untainted and pure like a lotus flower.

Despite life's trials, one can always rise and find light, emerging untainted and renewed.

Silent Sea, an abstract painting, is my first painting of the year. It depicts the feelings and movements of the sea.

"The Calm before The Storm," 2021, textured with metallics

This calming watercolor painting captures the tranquil ambiance as the sun sets, casting a warm and golden glow across the sky, and trees stand on either side, framing the view. The empty chairs invite contemplation and relaxation, symbolizing a moment of quiet reflection amid nature's beauty.

The composition beautifully blends the elements of sea, sky, and foliage, creating a visual ode to the peaceful retreat that is Inspiration Point.

"Presensya" is my original painting from the series of folds-style work, which depicts women farmers.

It feels like I'm riding in a boat, looking down at the water lilies and mesmerized by the sky’s reflection on the pond.

Inspired by the art creations by Andrew Tischler, one of my favorite artists, I made it my own by changing the trees and grass formations.

We go through ups, downs, and sideways in our lives. To see is to recognize; to recognize is to know how to overcome these what we call "obstacles."

"Make a Wish" captures the essence of hope and possibility, with each delicate seed floating in the breeze like a wish waiting to be fulfilled.

The soft, fleeting nature of the dandelion reminds us of the power of dreams and the beauty in letting go, trusting that wishes can take flight and find their way.

The beautiful colors of the sky are such a dramatic scene best observed.

Water, our emotions

Expressing the peace of heart and mind through the calmness of the sea

"Girl in the River" is a freehand oil painting on canvas.

This original concept is the second "Sisa" I've made; I intend to make bigger versions of this in the future.

A bangka rests calmly in a sunset-lit dock in this peaceful watercolor painting. Soft blends of oranges, pinks, and purples fill the sky, reflecting on the tranquil waters below. The docked boats, depicted with gentle strokes, create a serene scene, capturing the quiet beauty of a sunset by the sea.

"Tabok" is a Visayan term, which means "to cross." The crossing of a river or a body of water is a  symbolism for a mission.

We'll never know the challenges we are to face in our journey. All we have is the faith and the obedience of God upon responding to His will. 

I painted this during a live figure painting session organized by the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists. Featuring model and artist Ms. Tsen, this painting was done on the spot in 10 minutes.

The piece showcases the vibrant beauty of nine koi fish swimming harmoniously in a serene pond. Each fish, a jewel of color and grace, symbolizes prosperity and good fortune.

The composition exudes balance and tranquility, celebrating the timeless elegance of these cherished creatures.

The artwork depicts the ocean waves as they flow through without a destination--calm at their darkest depths.  It's a reminder to keep going on in life.

An abstract artwork inspired by the characteristic of ants

Ants store their food during the season of plenty (summer) to have enough food to survive during the season of scarcity (winter).

This artwork showcases my original concept and art style, Hues in Cuts. It was exhibited at the Ayala Malls Serin last December 6-25, 2023.

It honors the contribution of women in our society and also raises awareness about violence against women in any form.

It is simple yet profound—just like the artworks that filled the space. Each piece, a study in minimalism, depicted abstract landscapes, delicate flowers, and fleeting glimpses of human figures—lines that hinted at meaning but never gave too much away. 

The moon's reflection on the water creates a shimmering pathway of light, often instilling feelings of peace and serenity. It’s a reminder of nature's beauty and the connection between the sky and the earth.

This scene may also symbolize clarity and illumination, as the full moon often represents illumination not just in the physical sense but also insight and understanding.

Inspired by Philippine sunsets

Inspired by the colors of all seascapes in the Philippines

This is a painting of a brook somewhere in Malilipot, Albay, leading to the Busay Falls. 

In this painting, I depict the refreshing sound of the cold water flowing from the falls as it splashes itself into the rocks.

I always loved painting waterscapes as they refresh your mind and body, and those silent rocks, which have been there even before we were born.

"Let Me Be Yours" is an artwork inspired by Honey, one of the cats for adoption at the Philippine Animal Wellness Society (PAWS).

Marikina was the artist's former home, and the park was (and still is) one of her favorite places. The place served as her little oasis amid the hustle and bustle of the city.

My artwork presents a striking and enigmatic image. A central human figure, a male and a female is depicted in a flowing, almost ethereal form against a dark background. The figure's hands are cupped together, creating a protective space within. This space is filled with a rich tapestry of symbols and imagery, including a bird's nest with eggs, fish, and what appears to be a seascape.

The artwork is characterized by intricate linework that creates a sense of texture and depth. At the same time, the color palette is primarily dark, with the figure and specific details rendered in a warm, golden hue.
