We walk in this life with pain, doubts, and worries. Some are hopeless about their situations. Some are dying because of severe illnesses. Some are lonely and scared. Some are in the middle of nowhere and some are like you.

And it’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to feel everything at the same time. It’s okay to commit mistakes and mess up on something. Remember, you will always have another chance to make things right.

Rise, just like the day. Rise unafraid. Rise and do it a thousand times again.

I tried to capture the delicacy of the Magnolias against a bokeh background. They symbolize beauty, purity, love, and joy. They also represent the beauty that encompasses femininity, gentleness, fortitude, and perseverance.

Magnolias are also considered a lucky flower because they are presumed to attract wealth.

"Tumila na ang ulan" is a Filipino phrase that means "the rain has stopped." It conveys a sense of calm, relief, or hope after a storm.   

"Free" is an original work of mine honoring and celebrating Women's Month.

The lights and shadows cast on the buildings made a picturesque scene as they reflected on the waters of the famous city of canals.

You can't help but admire the structures and be mesmerized by the reflections on the water.

The pangangaluwa is a folk tradition where people visit houses at night to sing songs related to All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day to solicit gifts. The practice is more common in rural areas and is often done by children or teenagers.

I like how warm the scene feels with the sunlight coming through the dark trees. The yellow glow comes alive against the blue and white snow.

Heath, a rescue cat from the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), reimagined as a pet of a high Renaissance figure.

When I saw the photo of Heath holding his head up high and posing for the photo, I knew I wanted to portray him in this manner as it felt like he was royalty from his past life. It is also a way of manifesting a good life for Heath once he gets adopted from the shelter.

‎“Buntis Ako” is a personal piece about the hope of becoming a mother. It’s for every woman, whether part of the LGBT community or not, who dreams of experiencing motherhood.

‎This painting reflects not just my story, but also the stories of many others who wish to become moms but haven’t been given that chance yet. Through this work, I also share my identity and way of honoring women's strength and love.
