ONGOING: Bacolod City-Themed Art Display at JT’s Manukan Grille BGC

Taguig City, Philippines – FilipinoArt.ph, an online art gallery promoting Filipino artists, has teamed up with JT’s Manukan Grille, a chicken inasal restaurant in Bonifacio Global City. Together, they present a captivating art display called “Colors and Flavors of Bacolod,” featuring works by artists Roselle Manalastas and Jason Ray Zabat, until October 15, 2023.

The specially curated art display, painted exclusively for this occasion, celebrates the essence of the City of Smiles’ cultural heritage by infusing the city’s rich colors and its people’s vibrant emotions. These artworks beautifully depict the iconic Masskara Festival, lively street festivities the city is known for, staged in October.

Manalastas says, “I often notice paintings in restaurants and enjoy exploring them while dining. Feasting my eyes on beautiful artworks while having a meal is delightful.

“And I’m thrilled about my artworks being showcased, knowing that others will appreciate them just as I appreciate the artworks I discover in restaurants and cafes.”

Admission is free, and four out of the six artworks on display are still available for purchase through the FilipinoArt.ph’s website (scan the QR code next to the painting).
