Freelance graphic designer and visual artist Augie Michael was born in Prieto-Diaz, Sorsogon, Philippines.

In secondary school, he was a regular school representative in mural painting and poster-making contests. He was an editorial cartoonist, too. Hence, he studied Fine Arts at EARIST- Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology in college.

Having been a keen observer, he paints and designs dark illustrations depicting his advocacy against the negativities surrounding our society.
