About the Artwork

This artwork is painted on canvas artist’s pad (400g/sqm.), an acrylic triple gesso primed acid-free paper suitable for oil and acrylic painting.

While walking on the trail on a mountain hike, this young fern pops up among the grass and plants surrounding it. I was happy because when I zoomed in on something small, I could see how fragile, fresh, and soft it was, like an honest, innocent child that needs nurturing.

Ever since childhood, art has been Avi’s first love. Art is her my way of expressing herself, channeling positive energy, and sharing it with the world.

She graduated with a degree in architecture, but she also loved it because there was art in the design process. In spite of this, she always wanted to touch the brush and start painting but didn’t know why she procrastinated doing it. Then one day, she decided to paint again, which was exhilarating.

“Art never fails to show who I am,” Avi said.
