About the Artwork
I'm a piano teacher, but piano lessons with my students have stopped since the start of quarantine. And I haven't played the piano for a long time, but the music student/graduate/teacher in me still lives and continues. Hence, the title.
Bold contrasts between black and vibrant colors, with dramatic brush strokes and vivid yellows and reds, create a dynamic sense of energy that evokes passion and intensity. The focus on the piano adds depth, uniting music and emotion.

She also has explored mixed media, using her own crafts and adding them to her paintings.
