Michelle Anne is a full-time assistant professor at the Department of Humanities, University of the Philippines Los Banos, taking her Ph.D. in Communication at the U.P. Diliman.
An amateur artist, she started acrylic brush painting career and then eventually bravely moved into fluid art during the pandemic. This gives her a unique art experience that requires a great balance of passion and surrender. Fluid painting and geode art always surprise her with their beauty that blossoms from a process where the product usually unfolds itself. She has made it her motivation to evoke emotion, which she hopes gives her audience a reconciliation with the past, a recognition of the present, and a reassembling for the future.
She had her first solo exhibition in December 2021 at the Met Live Art Atrium in Pasay City.. She also recently joined the “50 Shades of Blue” art exhibition in Boracay in June 2022.
