    Melissa believes abstract art provides for unrestricted self-expression. Her minimalist artistic pursuits delve into the realms of colors, shapes, patterns, and lines—a journey that conveys meanings both simple and profound. 

    Along with being an artist, she is also a full-time campus missionary. Through her work, she seeks to forge connections between the natural and the spiritual providing a sense of simplicity and balance, and pointing people to the Ultimate Master Artist.

    She placed second in the non-figurative category of the esteemed Sining Filipina National Art Competition 2024 by BDO and Zonta Club of Makati and Environs.

    Some of her works were exhibited at the Art In The Park Makati, Galerie Francesca, Art Lounge Manila, ArtisteSpace Gallery, Blanco Art Gallery, 1159 Creative Space Gallery, Drybrush Gallery, Adamson University Art Gallery, Newport Mall Pasay, Fora Mall Tagaytay City, and Momo Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, among others.
