About the Artwork

By Jason Day

This depicts a woman in the current days of the pandemic. The new woman is strong, independent, and ready to face any crisis.

Subtle contrasts dominate the palette, blending muted tones with striking highlights of red, creating a sense of contemplation. The attention to individual elements within a bustling crowd captures the duality of isolation in public spaces, evoking thoughtfulness about modern urban life.
