A robust reflection of life before death, a story of aging and dying
A surreal approach to how sad life is. Knowing the fact that we are all going to die one day. The process of living and aging while we journey to the unknown--a sad and horrible reality.
The rotting apple is a sign of old age. The leafless trees represent one of the four seasons, the fall. The crow represents the reaper. The bloody ground is the death bed or burial ground.
But it's not all that bad. Once the apple falls, we should expect another life will appear.
Muted and earthy tones blend contrasting red and green shades that evoke discomfort and intrigue, amplifying the surreal and desolate atmosphere. The chilling hanging face and barren trees create a haunting and eerie mood.
