Catherine is a 23-year-old freelance visual artist from General Trias, Cavite, pursuing a degree in Advertising Arts at the University of Santo Tomas. Inspired by her childhood fascination with fashion and her collection of dolls, Catherine initially dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. However, as her creativity evolved, she discovered a passion for visual storytelling that transcended design, shaping her into the artist she is today.

Her artistic journey took a transformative turn in 2015 when she discovered the captivating world of watercolor painting during a class at UP Diliman. This medium quickly became her preferred expression, allowing her to explore the fluidity and depth of her ideas in vibrant hues. In 2019, her work was showcased by Tube Manila, the first in-train TV network in the city, in celebration of National Arts Month.

Her talent has also been recognized in various prestigious competitions. She competed in Shell’s 53rd and 54th National Students Art Competition. Most notably, in November 2023, her piece titled “Set Your Heart Ablaze” earned her a spot as a finalist, placing 6th in the Watercolor Category of Shell’s 56th National Students Art Competition under the theme "Galíng Pinoy, Galing Pinoy."

Balancing her studies with freelance work, Catherine continues to hone her skills and expand her artistic horizons. As she carves out her path in the art world, Catherine remains committed to creating meaningful works that resonate with her audiences, all while supporting her education and investing in her future artistic endeavors.
