Grain Foundation for PWD Inc., together with FilipinoArt, presents the art collection of Jayson Cabalerro Day, Kim Alexis Bañes, and Jasper Francis Oquendo. Jayson is a 20-year-old artist who makes realism, hyperrealism, and realistic surrealism pieces using coffee and pastels. On the other hand, Kim Alexis is a former GFPI Joy Disability School student. He has an intellectual disability, limiting his ability to learn and function at an expected level. Jasper Francis is also a former JDS student. He has Fanconi syndrome: a kidney disorder and hearing impairment.
GFPI is an SEC-registered non-stock, non-profit, and non-government organization that caters to persons with disability. GFPI gives free opportunity to study, live and work by providing free special education, vocational training, social enterprise, and employment opportunity to be a productive and functional citizens of the community for their self-reliance and sustainability.
