About the Artwork

Fiestas in the Philippines can be religious, cultural, or both. Several of these are held to honor the local Roman Catholic patron saint, commemorate local history and culture,  promote the community's products, or celebrate a bountiful harvest.

Soft, earthy tones and a muted color scheme create a gentle and serene atmosphere. The focus on a traditional activity evokes a sense of simplicity and familiarity, producing a reflective and nostalgic mood.
