About the Artwork
This piece is my take on how society handled the so-called pandemic in blind obedience. Society has become dependent on what the ‘authorities’ say while following the mainstream narrative. For us to resurface from the aftereffects of this, we have to wake up.
Sharp contrasts of vivid yellow and deep blue convey energy and strength, while the abstract shapes interwoven with locks and chains symbolize resilience and protection, creating a mood of empowerment and fortitude.
