At 13, he debuted in a one-person exhibit at The Negros Museum with the help of their local art community and supporters. On a separate occasion, he was privileged to do a charcoal portrait of, then Ambassador of Spain, Tomas Rodriguez Pantoja, who was the guest of honor during the sixth anniversary of The Negros Museum.
