Pasig City, Philippines–FilipinoArt.ph, an online art gallery promoting Filipino artists, is collaborating with Brewed Specialty Coffee, a third-wave coffee shop, to celebrate the cafe’s second anniversary. They will showcase a collection of paintings titled “Sining at Kape” by talented Pasigueño artists Lisa Capito, Jendee Sapo, and Earlmon Roy Reyes this weekend, Apr. 28 to 30, 2023.
Brewed Specialty Coffee, with its cozy and welcoming space, provides a unique opportunity for these artists to share their work with a broader audience. This special event promotes Filipino art and culture. It’s also a venue where art enthusiasts and coffee lovers can come together and appreciate the beauty of local art.
Earlmon Roy Reyes, one of the participating artists, shares how he feels about having his painting showcased: “Sharing my work in coffee shops, which attract a diverse range of visitors, allows me to reach a larger audience and start conversations to convey my story to even more people.”
Reyes is an artist who fuels his creativity through his vast imagination and deep emotions. He embraces the freedom to explore and experiment with various forms of artistic expression. He desires that “Boop,” his featured artwork, will catch people’s attention, spark curiosity, and create a memorable impression by conveying a story and inspiring viewers to develop their interpretations.
Admission is free, and all artworks will be available for purchase through FilipinoArt.ph’s online store.
Brewed Specialty Coffee is located at the Red Dot, C. Raymundo, Pasig City.
