About the Artwork

Everyone dreamt of having wings.
And so did I.
“Fly and soar high”, they said.
I did everything. I finally have my own.
I wonder why they’re staring at me.
A ‘friend’ suddenly approached me.
“Can I borrow your wings?”
Of course, I gave in,
And my wings were never returned.
After all my hard work,
This is how my story ended.
How could I be kind in this cruel world?
